Communist Goals #29, 30, & 31

These are #29, 30, & 31 of 45 goals laid out by the communists in the early 1960s.   Albert Herlong, Jr. a Florida Congressman from 1949-69 read them into the Congressional Record Thursday, Jan 10, 1963.

29) Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30) Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man”.

31) Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture”: Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

About the only thing here that hasn’t come to pass is the part about emphasizing Russian history since the communists took over.  “Communists” took quite a hit when the Soviet Union fell.  They didn’t cease to exist.  Communists don’t call themselves Communists anymore, unless they are in China, Cuba, or North Korea.  Communists are very much alive and actively working to undermine what made America great.

The American Constitution has been shredded, our founding fathers are forgotten, our culture has been replaced by trendy political correctness, and our history……..  superficial best describes it’s coverage.

It never occurred to me that all those disappointing facts about our modern country might have been the result of the actions of people interested in weakening us until I came across these “goals” established in the early 60s.

About votescottwise

I love Columbia City. I was born here, spent most of my life in and around Columbia City, and chose to make our community home after college. I want my children and grandchildren to be able to take advantage of what this country and our community have. I am running for Mayor of Columbia City in 2011.
